Our process of shipping a car to a private party is reliable and effective.

For private party shipment, drivetimeMOVE requires a deposit to book and reserve your order. Once we confirm the details of your move, we will give you a quote and a realistic time frame for delivery. When you are ready to transport your car, van, or other vehicle, we will arrange and complete the pick-up. Then, we’ll monitor your shipment until it arrives safely.

Service level agreement

Our customer satisfaction philosophy...

  • Receipt of every booking will be confirmed, and costed by email.
  • Drivers will be in uniform (including shirt and tie or approved uniform).
  • Fully inspect the new vehicle and ensure all delivery paperwork is present on collection. Any issues will be raised prior to leaving.
  • Drivers will check details of the new vehicle, against the delivery note (Registration number/colour and ensure that the car has at least ¼ tank of fuel).
  • Contact the customer by 09:00am on the morning of delivery to confirm an ETA.
  • In the event of our driver being delayed, or customer requesting alternative arrangements, Dealer will be informed immediately.
  • On delivery to the customer, the new vehicle will be free of road grime.
  • A full handover will be offered to the customer.
  • All new vehicle paperwork and return vehicle collection paperwork will be fully and accurately completed with the customer prior to leaving.
  • Any customer issues or problems will be reported to the dealer and resolved before leaving the customer.
  • “MoDel” units will be used where applicable, and any reliability issues will be reported to the Dealer prior to leaving the customer.
  • Return vehicles will be delivered to the required destination within the agreed timescales, but no later than within 48 hours of delivery of the new vehicle.
  • Completed delivery and return vehicle paperwork will be will be scanned, emailed and posted within 24 hours of the new vehicle delivery.
  • All vehicles will be fully insured by drivetimeMOVE (road risks, goods in transit and liabilities) whilst in our possession.
